Life happens
I haven't been able to write the last few days, I guess it could be longer than that. I will have to look at the last post date!
Things aren't showing any signs of slowing down either. We are off this weekend about three hours away for P and M's last gymnastics meet. After that is ThanksGiving and then B has a horse show the Saturday during that holiday weekend. Lastly, we are planning our trip cross country to our new duty station to go house hunting.
It looks like we will be on the road or out of town it seems for Christmas. This is a first for our family. I will give the full report when I can.
For now I am packing the car, still doing laundry for the trip, typing here really quickly and then will be off for the weekend. Should be fun, and it will be the last meet for the girls while we are here. They will have a few more lessons before we leave and then that is it.
I think this is sad for the girls in lots of ways, and I wish we could continue on with them until our actual move date. Time and money are are taking precedence for now and we have to do make the hard decisions sometimes. B won't have any more lessons after the show either. Wish it were different, but it is what it is I suppose :(
They will pick up again when we get moved so at least there is bright side and something to look forward to. And if I know my girls, they won't slip on much. My house is home to the Barrel of Monkey Olympics just about everyday! So there is a light at the end of there tunnel :)
Well I must go and switch the laundry and finish loading the car. I will write again as soon as I can. Wish my girls good luck and safe meet!
Happy weekend to all.
My monkeys are my own personal fairy tale in real life...
Ramblings, Sentiments, Rantings and Musings

- Dana
- I am a mother of 5 wonderful children and wife to one amazing Navy man. I am always changing things in my life, constantly learning something new and trying it out. I am a wannabe vegan, minimalist and currently living full time in an RV. Just for clarification, I say wannabe, because I know I am not perfect, but each day I strive to do the best I can. That's all I can expect from anyone no matter where they are in life. I learn something new everyday...mostly about myself and my little corner of reality. Life, to me, is loving, learning and making memories. These are better than all the tangible riches one can get their hands on! Besides, there will come a day when all I have left is my love and memories...so I'll stockpile as much of those as I can!
Famous Quotes
"I am beginning to suspect all elaborate and special systems of education. They seem to me to be built upon the supposition that every child is a kind of idiot who must be taught to think. Whereas, if the child is left to himself, he will think more and better, if less showily. Let him go and come freely, let him touch real things and combine his impressions for himself, instead of sitting indoors at a little round table, while a sweet-voiced teacher suggests that he build a stone wall with his wooden blocks, or make a rainbow out of strips of coloured paper, or plant straw trees in bead flower-pots. Such teaching fills the mind with artificial associations that must be got rid of, before the child can develop independent ideas out of actual experience." -- Anne Sullivan
