So much to do so little time-
Wow, it seems as if everytime I get ready to blog lately something else comes up and I have to put it off again. I wish that I had more time and more energy to put into this blog! Our family has been on the go, planning to be on the go, packing to get going and preparing for the next time we have to be on the go! Whew! That was a mouthful or should I say a typeful :)
I have been feeling so overwhelmed lately over all we have to do. We are pretty much decided that we are no longer gonna put our house up for sale, but rent it out instead. The market is still so not seller happy! However, preparing it to be rented out is still just as much as a challenge. It makes me never want to buy another home until Jud retires from the Navy! Living in base housing is just so much simpler!
I have definitely reached a point of just wanting to get it all over with. Every day it seems that our plans change and though I am a change oriented kinda girl, this is making me bugged out on a daily basis.
My very best friend told me the other night to just let my husband handle all the decisions and just go along for the ride. What wonderful advice that is. He has always been wonderful at making good decisions for our family and things always work out just as they are supposed to. So from this point on I am going to really try to just cruise along with each day as it comes and stop worrying about unneccesary stuff. My sweet girlfriend is so wise and so wonderful. Thank God for her! Thanks Heather!
As a side note...I probably won't be posting very many pictures for awhile due to my camera acting really screwy and the memory stick seems to keep failing. Or I may just upload photos that I took off the camera recently before the camera issue! I hate not having pictures but what can you do? Hopefully I can get a few on the internal memory of our Thanksgiving and be able to post them soon after. So wish me photograpy luck! Sweet day to all!
My monkeys are my own personal fairy tale in real life...
Ramblings, Sentiments, Rantings and Musings

- Dana
- I am a mother of 5 wonderful children and wife to one amazing Navy man. I am always changing things in my life, constantly learning something new and trying it out. I am a wannabe vegan, minimalist and currently living full time in an RV. Just for clarification, I say wannabe, because I know I am not perfect, but each day I strive to do the best I can. That's all I can expect from anyone no matter where they are in life. I learn something new everyday...mostly about myself and my little corner of reality. Life, to me, is loving, learning and making memories. These are better than all the tangible riches one can get their hands on! Besides, there will come a day when all I have left is my love and memories...so I'll stockpile as much of those as I can!
Famous Quotes
"I am beginning to suspect all elaborate and special systems of education. They seem to me to be built upon the supposition that every child is a kind of idiot who must be taught to think. Whereas, if the child is left to himself, he will think more and better, if less showily. Let him go and come freely, let him touch real things and combine his impressions for himself, instead of sitting indoors at a little round table, while a sweet-voiced teacher suggests that he build a stone wall with his wooden blocks, or make a rainbow out of strips of coloured paper, or plant straw trees in bead flower-pots. Such teaching fills the mind with artificial associations that must be got rid of, before the child can develop independent ideas out of actual experience." -- Anne Sullivan
